Page 8 is an illu stration of the seal and shield marker of Erlend Filippusson in 1370, son of Filippus. Rendahl, in English, page 54, s tates that Filippus Erlendson is considered the first of the Losna family, and that he was born about 1270 (1290 in Losna arti cle), and from the arms, it appears his family had some relation to the earls of Orkney, as the Sinclair/St. Clair famil y there had similar arms.
