  [Langeteig.FTW] [Brita Mundal.FTW] The Mundal line of descent is primarily taken from THE MUNDALE-MONDALECLAN, compiled by Leste r and Maria Mondale (Missourian Litho and PrintingCo., Cape Girardeau, MO, 1975). The follow ing narrative is taken fromthat work (p. 19ff): "Hans, born in 1614, died 1698, took over Farm 1, Upper Mundal. Hemarried Gjertrud Joha nnesdatter. Hans is mentioned in connection withvarious official functions, the last time a t the age of 83, when he wassaid to be of 'good memory, good health and wits.' He had four c hildren. "The oldest, Tor Hannson Mundal, became the owner of Lower Mundal in1666, when he was tw enty years old. He married Gurid Hermudsdatter.They had a daughter, Segrid, who died in 1743 . He died in 1709." More ofthe narrative found under Sigrid.
