  [rikBoyum.FTW] Graduated from Stanford University Worked for Maui Land & Pineapple Co. designing irrigation systems Army Air Corps in WWI as an aerial photographer Retired as a Captain from the Navy after serving as an engineer in the Pacific during WWII. He worked on numerous sea-plane and island airbases (Kwajalien, Johnson Island, et.) and one of the few streets on Midway is named for him. After retirement from the Navy after WWII he worked for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. Lived in the house he built at 3103 Oahu Avenue, Manoa Valley, Honolulu As a civil engineer, Les worked on the design of "Punchbowl" cemetary after Pearl Harbor was bombed.
