  [Langeteig.FTW] Name: Nils Jensson Semelinge (Simmling) Sex: M 1 2 3 Birth: in of Valdres, Oppland, Norway Note: !The Balestrand bygdebok, page 362, said that Samson Nilsson Tjugum's father was Nil s Jensson, a lagmann in Stavanger from about 1530 on, and that Samson's mother was a daughter of Gaute Ivarson Dall o f Valen in Sunnhordland. Kindem, 1928, page 159, has that a daughter of Gaute Ivarson Dal married Nils Jensson of Seml inge, who was of the Losna family, and a lagmann in Stavanger 1550-8. The article on the Losna family, pages 5-44 (Wild a believes this if by Anton Espeland, 1921) on page 18 states that Nils Jensson of Simling was a lagmann in Stavanger i n 1550, and he believes he was not killed, but may have been in prison in 1559.
