  [Langeteig.FTW] At Mlsnes at 1701 census. "Kristen tta fr futen Jens Holst i Sogn og fr Ivar Dall til Malkenes. Han var ein velhald en mann og var lensmann i Kvamsy. Det var visst ikkje noko segja p han som lensmann, me n likevel var han ute for at sonen Ola krov han avsett, han vilde vera lensmann sjlv. Trule g hadde Ola ftt lovnad p verta lensmann etter faren, og no tykte han at det drygde for le nge. Men Kristen sa imot, han hadde ikkje bede um verta fri, og lagretten gjekk hardt in n for at Kristen skulde halda fram. Slik vart det og, Kristen var lensmann til i 1739, og d fyrst slapp Ola til."
