Boyum posted by Thomas Green on December 03, 2002 at 08:39:42: This is in response to a request from Thomas Green regarding Ben O. Boyum. My grandmother (Maria Boyum) was a sister of Ben Boyum. She was married to The Rev. A.E. Hanson and my mother was their youngest child. My father, Robert Thoreson was a farmer and for several years farmed the Ole Boyum farm (1947-1957), renting it from Ben Boyum. In the house there wa what appeared to be a diary by Ole Boyum, written in Norwegian. This was claimed by Ben and family. Many of us who are descendents of Ole Boyum would be interested in having that book translated into English as it would be most enlightening regarding Ole Boyum's life and family.
